2021 NBA Playoffs Predictions Every Matchup- Brooklyn Nets Win

Firstly, I am a die hard Lakers fan and It's hard to see my Lakers enter the play-In-tournament rusty. I hope they win it all. I am going to analyze and predict the outcome of every game from the play-in-tournament to the eventual NBA champion. All predictions assume the current rosters are healthy!

I like most of the predictions sports productions made In this video with a few exceptions. In the Eastern Conference I expect the Celtics to get the 7 seed and Washington to beat out the Indiana Pacers for the 8 seed without Caris Levert. If the Pacers were fully healthy I would choose them to get the 8th seed and even without Gordon Hayward I don't think the Hornets are here yet. In the Western conference the Lakers will be defeated by the Warriors as It's a team they don't match up well with and they're very rusty. However, they will beat the Grizzlies who will beat the Spurs. The greatness of Steph Curry and the team chemistry of the Warriors, has me nervous for the Lakers in a one game matchup. If it were a 7 game series I would say Lakers in 6 right now.

In the first round of the playoffs I agree with all of the predictions Sports Productions made for which he got the play-in-tournament correct. The second round will Include the; 76ers, Nets, Bucks (close series with Jrue Holiday making the difference between the Heat), Hawks, Phoenix, Lakers, Portland (7 game series over the Nuggets w/o Jamal Murray) and the Clippers. Going into the second round I do think the 76ers will beat the Hawks in 5 and the Nets will beat the Bucks in a competitive 6 game series. Out west where every series will be intense I have the Clipper curse striking again as the Lakers will just be too much for them after they shake off their rust in a tough 6 game series against the Jazz. The Jazz are by far my biggest playoff wildcard. I wouldn't be surprised if they won or lost to the Warriors or Clippers. However, the matchup against the Lakers would be too much for them, If the Lakers can overcome their rust and beat the Warriors. If the Lakers do prove me wrong they should handle Portland in 5 or 6 games to advance as well. Also, If Portland get's Phoenix like I am predicting Portland will also lose but in 7 games with the big 3 of; Cp3, Ayton and Booker being too much for Dame time. Once again this matchup in the super competitive west will be too close to call for sure. I can't wait to see that backcourt go to war!

Moving into the conference finals with the Lakers and Phoenix. The Lakers have an answer at every matchup and Phoenix doesn't have anyone to guard Lebron or Anthony Davis whose perimeter game will cause even Deandre Ayton issues (Lakers in 6). If I am wrong and It's the Clippers I'll take the Lakers in 6 because even though It's a tougher matchup for Lebron, the Clippers don't have a player to guard Anthony Davis or Andre Drummond down low. If It ends up being Portland It'll be a very similar outcome to last year with the Lakers winning in 6. Out in the eastern conference, Ben Simmons, Danny Green and Seth Curry will be decent at slowing down Kyrie Irving and James Harden. However, slowing down is not saying much when either one of them can still put up 30+ and the 76ers don't have anyone to guard Kevin Durant. Although, the Brooklyn Nets aren't highly regarded as great defenders, they've each had memorable moments on that end in the postseason. So even though Blake Griffin and Deandre Jordan will be on an Island against Joel Emiid they can play off Ben Simmons on the weak side to help when needed. This should be a long series but I just don't think the 76er's have the shooting consistency or collective toughness to knock off the favourites to win the championship. Therefore I have the Brooklyn Nets facing my Lakers.

Despite Max Kellerman's objection's I think the entire world believes the Lakers and Nets are the indisputable Vegas odd's on favourites to go to war for the crown. Yes the Lakers have been beaten up all year and yes the Brooklyn Nets at times have been terrible on defense but this is my conclusion, every other team just doesn't have the greatness. At this time the Lakers are not even in the playoff's, but if they're healthy this will not matter. My reason for picking Brooklyn to beat the Lakers is very simple, when two teams have this much talent it comes down to; depth, chemistry, defense, experience, intensity and the intangibles. Also, the Brooklyn Nets have arguably the best three offensive players in the matchup and the Lakers current starting 5 has only played 3 games together, so unfortunately I like there chances. It's hard to admit but I thin Lebron will lose again in the finals and the NBA record 18th NBA Championship banner for my Lakers may be lost. At this stage of the season, I don't even feel super confident in my Lakers making the NBA finals and I don't like the way their roster is constructed. The Brooklyn Nets collectively have; more to prove, more desire, and are better constructed. Therefore, I got to give them the intangible factor reward, they are the superstars that have been overlooked and that's all about to change now.

Lebron<Durant

Davis<Harden

Drummond<Irving

Schroeder>Harris
